Have you heard of NextNav, the Silicon Valley tech company making waves in geolocation?

They have been leading the way in next generation GPS by taking it vertical. That’s right, vertical! With enhanced solutions, like E911, first responders now have accurate ‘floor level” data for faster response times so that they can save more lives. Crazy, right? 

So, how does this tie to Lakeland?

Gillian Smith, President and Founder of Carambola Consulting and a Catapult office member, has been walking with NextNav on their marketing journey, working with them on messaging, strategy, brand positioning, and more. Throughout this journey, Gillian even brought in other Catapult members Dave Pappas, founder of DP Creative Studio, and Jon Sierra founder of Sierra Creative, to help with NextNav with their rebrand last year.

This month, NextNav combined with the Spartacus Acquisition Corporation resulting in their company going public for $1.2 billion! You can read more about it in the press release here.
