We house a kitchen incubator, which is a commercial kitchen that has the equipment and capacity to help your business grow. Our space is equipped with tools for food-based start-ups to take your idea from concept to reality.
Not sure where to start? Check out our How to Start a Food Business Guide, that details the process of vetting, formalizing, and growing your start-up.
Our goal for each of the businesses who use our space is to launch into a brick and mortar space of their own – whether that is a shared retail space or a manufacturing facility.

Jenn Smurr | Born and Bread
“As a beginner at Catapult it was helpful to be surrounded by like minded entrepreneurs. On bad days, someone was there to relate. On good days, people were around to celebrate with you. On days when you needed guidance there was someone had been ‘there’ before. Catapult created a sense of togetherness.”
Melissa McClure | Southern Babies
“In my own home, I would have never been able to make enough product, I just made 100 jars of baby food for a farmer’s market; I would never be able to do that without Catapult. It’s not a job to me, I’m just hanging out with my friends down there in the Catapult Kitchen.”
Wendy Johnson | Krazy Kombucha
“At Catapult, our goal was to get going, make our initial sales, and solidify our customer base. Now that we’ve accomplished that and have space to expand our operations, we are working to get our kombucha into more retailers + restaurants in Lakeland. Our time spent at Catapult and those connections we have
made have propelled us forward.”
