About The Workspace

Entrepreneurship can be a lonely journey. Founders often feel very isolated as they work to build a company on their own.

The Catapult Workspace fosters an environment where founders can connect and support each other, while our dedicated staff curates valuable resources and community connections to serve as a guide.

Though the entrepreneurial journey is never easy, the Workspace Incubator is designed to help you move further, faster.

What is a business incubator?

A business incubator is an organization designed to accelerate the growth and success of entrepreneurial companies through an array of business support resources and services that could include physical space, capital, coaching, common services, and networking connections.

What is the process to join the Catapult Workspace Incubator?

While the process varies slightly depending on interest in coworking, desk or office, the membership process is listed below:

1. Fill out this form
2. Receive an invitation to tour
3. Complete an application for membership
4. Participate in an incubator interview

Are there any industries that are not accepted into the Workspace Incubator?

Over the years, we have learned that there are some industries that we are not set up to serve. These include: real estate, accounting, legal, construction, and insurance.

How much does incubator membership cost?

As a non-profit, each membership at Catapult is subsidized by donors for the economic impact and community benefit that comes from entrepreneurs starting and scaling businesses. Due to their generosity, we are able to offer membership below market rate as listed below:

  • Coworking – from $170/mo
  • Desks – from $270/mo
  • Offices – price determined by office size and location
Can I become a member at Catapult without participating in an incubator?

The short answer is “maybe”. As a non-profit, Catapult is funded to help businesses start and scale, and we do this though our different incubators. Therefore, most resources are focused on subsidizing the businesses that want to start and scale businesses.

However, we do offer a limited number of Shared Space Memberships for people who do not need incubator programming, but that still want to be a part of an entrepreneurial community. These memberships do not include all of the amenities and resources and are not as subsidized as the Incubator Membership.

Shared Space memberships start at $220/mo for coworking.

Catapult is cheaper than other coworking spaces, what is the catch?

Catapult is a non-profit. We exist due to the generosity of private donors and corporations. Half of our operating budget is covered by membership dues, and the other half is fundraised.

Donors support Catapult because they believe in the economic impact and community good that comes from supporting entrepreneurship.

There are other amazing coworking spaces in the area, so if you are looking for a space to work and are not starting or scaling a business, those may better fit your needs.
