Gillian Smith has over 25 years of marketing, sales, and communications experience with major companies and brands including Burger King, Coca-Cola, and LEGOLAND, where she held key leadership roles. Most recently, she was the Chief Marketing Officer of a publicly traded B to B technology company. As the founder of Carambola Consulting, Gillian has led marketing initiatives for companies and organizations of all sizes across multiple industries, driving impactful strategies and growth. She has been named an “Online All-Star” by MediaPost, a “Woman to Watch” by Advertising Age, and her marketing campaigns have won prestigious awards including Cannes Golden Lions, Effies, Best Multicultural Advertising (Association of National Advertisers), Best Viral Advertising (Wall Street Journal), The One Show, and even the Best Campaign of the Century according to Advertising Age and The New York Times.

She can help members develop marketing and communications plans to effectively advance their businesses, through market research and insight identification, brand positioning and strategy, communications and messaging, and planning and execution across owned, earned and paid channels. She has been a Catapult member for over five years, and previously served as the member representative on the Catapult board.
