My grandmom was an incredible cook and encouraged me to experiment in the kitchen alongside her. I remember she fake-liked a pot of soup I made from carrots boiled in salty milk (aka creamy carrot soup) and led me to believe there was hope for my culinary success. My love of cooking joined my desire to prevent heart disease and promote optimal health in my own family. Since 2016 I’ve been loving a plant-based diet and having fun creating delicious, beautiful, and healthy food to share.
