Expertise STEM Education, Hands-On Learning, STEM After-School Program
I am Owner and Director of Operations at Engineering For Kids in Central West Florida. In 2007, I graduated from the University of Puerto Rico in Mayaguez with a bachelors degree in Industrial Engineering. After graduation, I moved from Puerto Rico directly to Lakeland to start working at Stryker Sustainability Solutions, formerly known as Ascent Healthcare Solutions, as a VIP Manufacturing Engineer and where I kept growing professionally for almost 5 years. In 2011, I made the decision of staying home to raise and take care of my two children, Sebastian and Isabella. The same year, I started a home-based food cottage bakery named Ingenious Delights LLC. After two years of creating custom cakes, I got the opportunity to learn about Engineering For Kids. My husband, Axel Albo and I started operating the business in fall of 2014. Engineering For Kids brings science, technology, engineering, art and math (STEAM), to kids ages 4 to 14 in a fun and challenging way through classes, camps, clubs, and parties. I am truly passionate about the educational impact my business is offering to future generations in our community and in Central West Florida.
