Company June Taylor
Expertise Creative, Marketer, Community Engagement
I have lived most of my life in Polk County, having grown up in Lake Wales. My family actually has deep roots here with one great-grandfather owning a business school in Winter Haven. I journeyed to the big city of Lakeland to attend Florida Southern College where I met my husband. We married and decided to raise our family here.
June Taylor began a bit by accident. Several years ago I began hand-making blankets and selling them at Dixieland Relics’ Last Friday. I, then, noticed that my displays needed a little more pizzazz so I started finding vintage goods to add to the display. After that I began doing some vintage markets about 3 times year. In the last year I applied for and got into Indie Flea in Tampa and then began doing show at least once a month. Last month I applied for, interviewed and got into the Brocante Vintage Market in St Pete. But decided to turn down that amazing opportunity to pursue starting something similar yet different here. I would like to blend vintage and contemporary in a shop that moves and changes from month to month. Make an experience for people to come to!
