Good Intents

Stephanie is a native Floridian, born and raised in Winter Haven. She is a self-proclaimed mermaid and even named her youngest of 3 after a German folktale, Lorelei. She and her husband Robert love to travel together, but agree whether it’s a park bench or airplane their favorite place to be is by each other. She has worked in sales and marketing since graduating from the University of Illinois at Chicago in 2005.  Starting Good Intents to provide valuable marketing resources for non-profits was driven by an observation that for-profit providers had a lack of understanding or willingness to create strategic and targeted campaigns for 501(c)(3)s. Stephanie and her business partner, Tim Turner, believe everyone, regardless of budget, deserves to have their cause shared. By providing creative, strategic tools, they both believe their clients are reaching the new generation of donors, volunteers, and more importantly, customers.

What inspired you to become an entrepreneur? We were drawn to the opportunity to find more from within ourselves. We design our path and have the leverage to set our goals based on our known capacity and strengths. It isn’t about the work, it’s about the why.

What are some business wins? We are winning at engaging local non-profits and meeting the client acquisition benchmarks we set in our business plan.

What are your short-term goals? Currently, my short-term goals are to establish simplified day-to-day activities and create workflow automations to increase productivity.

How has Catapult helped you? Catapult provides a unique workspace to gather, collaborate, or hunker down on projects.

Why Lakeland? Why not? Lakeland and the surrounding communities are the best kept secret in the State of Florida. I love the small town feel and pray that as the city experiences considerable growth in commerce this trait isn’t lost among us.

Secret Sauce? Our secret sauce is our capacity to care and listen to our clients.
