Darand Innovations LLC

Darand is a team of two. Darla and Andy Markley came from a diverse background: Darla is a retired RN with a Masters in Nursing and Education, and Andy is a college dropout. While in school for biology, he fell in love with computers and decidedly pursued a career in coding and software development in lieu of the traditional formal education route. Andy has had the privilege to write code for some well-known companies and is in the process of launching programs of his own design.

What is your business? Aside from creating automation solutions through computer software, we also develop Page Drogher, a web-based legal document tracking software for process servers. Process servers are those that would cheerfully knock on your door and part with “you’ve been served!”

Who are your clients? We have a diverse list of clients, ranging from landlords to restaurant owners, designing complex spreadsheets and workflow processes. We also have one client using our Page Drogher service.

What are your short-term goals? Turn Page Drogher into a one-size-fits-all system so that any process service business can use it immediately.

What are some business wins? Using Page Drogher, our client was able to boost his workload capacity 400% without having to hire more employees.

How has Catapult helped you? Catapult gave us access to a wonderful community and a distraction-free working space.

Why Lakeland? We bought a house in Winter Haven and Lakeland happened to have all the resources we needed. In truth, we had no idea we’d be starting two businesses after moving to Florida from Tennessee. We have a second business, CJOK Kitchen LLC, that produces No Guilt Baking Low-Carb Mixes.
