Kitchen SixtyThree is owned and operated by Robert and Lisa Garcia. A mother and son team that has been providing food, pastries, baked goods and Key Lime tarts to friends and family for years. Robert graduated from Le Cordon Bleu and has worked in many different restaurants and bakeries. Lisa has always been an amazing cook and baker and can still out-cook her son even with all of his years of professional experience!
Kitchen SixtyThree officially started in 2017 in Key West, FL. Since both Lisa and Robert were born in Key West, we had the natural motive to make an amazing Key Lime Tart. We were lucky enough to get our tarts (and additional items) into restaurants throughout Key West and the lower Florida Keys. On Sept 10, 2017 we lost everything due to Hurricane Irma. Our home was ripped apart and the few things we were able to save were some cookbooks, clothing, and some kitchen tools. After essentially being homeless after the storm, we were lucky enough to find Lakeland as our new home. Close to a year after losing it all, we are excited to bring a touch of Key West to the Lakeland area with our Key Lime Tarts and a few extra goodies along the way!
