Expertise Christ-Centered Community and Economic Development

Brian Seeley

Originally from Long Island, I left home at the age of 19 to study and travel the South Pacific. I came to Christ during that time and felt called to work with the poor. Fun fact, I hitch hiked around New Zealand spending time and sleeping outside with homeless friends that I made. I eventually returned home and set off for Lakeland in 2008 to study at Southeastern University where I earned a bachelors degree in Theology and a Masters degree in Professional Counseling. During this time, I began doing ministry in the Parker Street neighborhood. Eventually, I moved into the neighborhood with the intention to be a daily witness and friend to those who are facing the challenges of poverty.

I founded Gospel, Inc. as well as Looks Great Enterprises, Inc. and Neighbors of Lakeland LLC. It is my goal to coalesce business with ministry, not only to provide support for the ministry but also to provide job opportunities to those that we work within the neighborhood. We provide a working home for men who we support as they find employment and move towards stability. We also have RePurpose Art Studio, which provides skill training and job training to at-risk women in the Parker Street neighborhood. Looks Great Enterprises, Inc. provides property maintenance/management as well as superb professional holiday and event lighting. In addition to providing employment to those we assist with housing, Looks Great financially supports the work of Gospel, Inc.
